The Role:
We're looking for an experienced hire for this company to head up the Big Data and Analytics Architecture Group. Someone who has a proven track record in the Data Architecture space, someone who has come through the technical ranks of Data / Analytics architecture and is now leading a group of experienced Data / Data Science Architectural practitioners. An individual who has both the commercial and technical acumen to push innovation across Data tech.

You'll also have some or all of the following:

• Outstanding communication and business engagement skills with a proven track record consulting both internally and externally to high level executives and stakeholders.
• Proven grasp and technical ability across Data Science, Analytics and Data Architecture.
• Proven leadership skills in a technical and business related environment.
• Deep understanding of the Hadoop and Apache Hadoop eco system as well as familiarity with SQL-on-Hadoop tech - Hive, Spark, Pig etc.

This is a newly created role and will see you manage and lead a very well respected team of Architects. You'll thrive in a qick paced environment and love to solve technical and business problems.
