Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and design data architectures and data models for complex systems (conceptual, logical and physical)
  • Capture and maintain current state architecture and define future state architecture; develop roadmaps for the transitional states to direct our client's investment and project prioritisation.
  • Establish foundational capabilities and best practices for data governance, data management, data architecture and business reporting (BI).
  • Champion standards and principles to ensure solution decisions are made consistently across the enterprise and in context of target architectures.
  • Assess related business functions and strategy to interpret underlying technical and process needs, and the discovery of data and analytics requirements for information for all uses
  • Provide guidance and direction into using modern cloud data governance and data management techniques (Data Architecture Principles & Standards, data integration patterns, data standards, data access and distribution etc,)
  • Maximise value from data and analytics through leveraging internal and external data assets to improve performance through enterprise information solutions and capabilities - meta data management (MDM), Data Quality, analytics, content management, data integration, information management and enablement of effective data governance.
  • Ability to use visual means such as drawings chart and tables to facilitate discussion.

To be successful you will.

  • Demonstrated Data Architecture, data governance and data management delivery experience, along with a highly inquisitive approach to business problem solving
  • Financial services (preferably in public markets / investment management) and / or Real Estate / Infrastructure domain knowledge
  • Experience in Implementing data governance and architecture in Cloud platforms (AWS, Google, Azzure) from a data architecture and a data governance perspective would be preferred
  • Experience in formulating Data Quality framework
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL (SSIS/SSAS), data warehouses / marts / cubes and analytics/visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, Microstrategy
  • Experience with Data Catalog, metadata management and business glossary tools like Talend Metadata Manager, Alation, Collibra, ASG Brocade, DAG Metacenter or IBM Business Glossary would preferred but not essential
  • Experience with Investment data management tools like Eagle, Charles River, FACTSET, Aladdin, Golden source, Curium, IHS Markit would be preferred but not essential
  • A passion for data and a strong alignment to the focus on data, technology and end-to-end solutions
  • Comfortable leading and delivering data initiatives working with multiple business and technology teams.
  • Ability to use visual means such as drawings chart and tables to facilitate discussion.
